Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a human resources role, preferably as an HR Advisor or similar.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively across all levels.

Job Title : HR Advisor

Salary : £34,000 - £38,000

Location : North Yorkshire (commutable from Leeds, Selby, and surrounding areas)

Working Structure : Office based – occasional site travel

Contract : Permanent

Interview process : 2 Stages Onsite

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our HR functions and ensuring the smooth operation of various human resources processes. This position requires a strong understanding of HR practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Working hours : Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Maintain and update HR systems to ensure accurate data entry and reporting.
  • Manage employee records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Support the administration of employee benefits and payroll processes.
  • Contribute to the development of HR initiatives that enhance employee engagement and organisational culture.
  • Collaborate with management to identify training needs and facilitate professional development opportunities.
  • Support with employee engagement activities, including wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, and cultural initiatives.
  • Assist the HR team with administrative tasks and projects.
  • Support managers during investigations, disciplinaries, and welfare meetings.
  • Provide effective absence management in conjunction with occupational health.
  • Conduct exit interviews and assist with offboarding processes.
Experience & Skills
  • Proven experience in a human resources role, preferably as an HR Advisor or similar.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively across all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism.
  • Knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice is advantageous.
