Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join the Carlsberg Britvic team in Rugby. This full-time, permanent role is site-based with hours 08:30–16:30 Monday to Friday.

The package includes salary up to £35,000, 25 days leave plus bank holidays, a company pension, life assurance and access to an employee benefits platform. You will partner with line managers to deliver practical HR support, shape local HR strategy, and ensure compliant, timely HR processes.

Here at GXO, we are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our Carlsberg Britvic team in Rugby.
You’ll be a trusted partner to line managers, providing timely, practical and comprehensive HR support while helping to shape and deliver the site’s HR strategy—both now and for the future.
This is a full‑time, permanent, site-based position, working Monday to Friday, 08:30–16:30.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Applying people policies and processes, ensuring the integrity of local people practices within the site/contract – escalating where required
• Active involvement in supporting the engagement and wellbeing strategy across the site including million hours mission
• Ensure accurate operation of HR system and time and attendance system and other applicable systems
• Monitoring of key metrics, such as turnover, retention rates and absence reporting, taking action where required
• Manage any employee relations caseload efficiently and effectively, maintaining consistency across the sites

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Ideally qualification of CIPD Level 5 or working towards
• Previous HR Advisor experience
• Previous experience of providing employment law and best practice advice
• Personable with strong communication and relationship building capabilities across all levels of the business
