A manufacturing business in Preston seeks an HR Advisor to deliver comprehensive HR services throughout the employee lifecycle. This role involves onboarding, employee relations, and compliance with legislation. A competitive salary of circa £30,000 and 33 days of holiday are offered, along with hybrid working options. Your new role
As HR Advisor, you'll play a key role in delivering a comprehensive generalist HR service across the business. Reporting to the HR Manager, you'll support the full employee lifecycle - from onboarding to offboarding - and provide guidance on employee relations, recruitment, payroll, and engagement initiatives. You'll also be responsible for maintaining accurate HR records, supporting line managers with performance and absence management, and ensuring compliance with employment legislation and GDPR.
This is a varied and hands-on role where you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact, working closely with managers and employees across all levels of the organisation. The role offers hybrid working (1 day per week from home) and flexibility to support business needs.
