Job summary

The Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting an HR Advisor to deliver a generalist operational HR service to allocated areas of the Trust. The role involves advising managers and staff on employment matters, including complex employee relations cases and organisational change, while supporting the HR Business Partner on key HR objectives.

Available at 0.5 or 1.0 full-time equivalent with flexible working considered.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant subject.
• Associate CIPD membership is required.
• Substantial advisory HR experience at a generalist level.

Available at 1.0 or 0.5 whole-time equivalent, with flexible working considered. Fit depends on CIPD associate membership and substantial advisory HR experience.

What’s required

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant subject or equivalent experience
• Associate membership of the CIPD

Experience

• Substantial HR experience at an advisory level
• Substantial generalist HR experience within the NHS
• Experience managing complex employee relations cases and organisational change

Skills & knowledge

• Sound understanding of HR policies and procedures
• Up to date knowledge of employment law and best practice

Nice to have

• Experience working in a large, complex unionised organisation
