Responsibilities
- As HR Advisor based at our Milton Keynes plant, you will service our south based plants delivering proactive, consistent, and high-quality HR support.
- You will act as a trusted partner to local managers and employees, ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices in alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
- Provide expert, hands-on HR advice and support all managers and employees on all aspects of employee relations.
- Partner with managers to deliver effective people management strategies aligned with UK and Corporate HR objectives.
- Provide timely, consistent and expert advice to managers on a variety of Employee Relations issues, including absence management, performance, disciplinary and grievance matters and other case work and providing end to end support in line with company policies and procedures.
- Build strong relationships with Operations Managers and all site management teams.
- Provide HR data analytics and reporting to support decision making.
- Travel between sites to provide hands-on, in person support.
- Collaborate with the wider central HR team (e.g, recruitment, Learning and Training and Payroll).
- To perform any other duties which are consistent with the main purpose of the job.
Experience / Education
- Proven experience at Advisor HR Level; CIPD Level 5 preferred.
- Experience gained within an FMCG/Manufacturing environment desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all departments.
- Experience of using HR systems.
- Confident and competent with Microsoft programmes, in particular Excel.
