Portfolio is proud to exclusively represent our award-winning, multinational HR & Employment Law services client in their search for a HR Advisor to join their team. This unique HR Advisory role is open to HR professionals at any level, offering invaluable experience advising on a wide range of HR processes, procedures, and Employment Law for over 30,000 clients across various sectors. There is also an opportunity to earn additional income and follow a clear career progression pathway.

The HR Advisor will be responsible for providing reliable, commercially focused HR and Employment Law advice over the phone to clients on all HR matters, from general to complex queries. The role includes participation in an excellent training program and potential to obtain a part post-graduate qualification.

The HR Advisor will also be responsible for:

  1. Supporting clients with quality advice in a productive manner to provide efficient, solution-based guidance via email or call, depending on client preference. This will primarily involve call advice.
  2. Handling calls from clients with HR issues or queries, including absence management, grievances, disciplinaries, etc.
  3. Providing clients with supporting information and documentation to help implement the advice or solutions offered.
  4. Using your HR and employment law expertise to develop clear, tailored responses for clients.
  5. Reviewing client documentation and providing advice while considering their internal terms and conditions.
  6. Ensuring all advice requests are handled within the relevant Service Level Agreement (SLA).

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  1. Good employment law knowledge, gained through studies or work experience.
  2. CIPD qualification or equivalent workplace experience is desirable.
  3. Experience working in a KPI/target-driven environment, ideally in a shared service center, is highly desirable.
  4. The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  5. Be an organized self-starter.
  6. The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
  7. Excellent communication skills.
