HR Advisor (Band 5)

An opportunity has arisen for an HR Advisor to join the busy HR Business Partner team (Clinical & Scientific Services). You will work alongside HR Business Partners and the wider HR team to provide high-quality strategic and operational people management support, ensuring best practice in people management.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop and expand your skills and experience as an HR professional within a multidisciplinary team of HR and OD professionals.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Supporting Workforce Business Partners and the team in delivering a professional, proactive, and efficient workforce service within Clinical & Scientific Services, through the application of Trust policies, employment legislation, and flexible employment approaches.
  2. Supporting employee relations, policy implementation, and governance for the CSS Workforce team.
  3. Contributing to the development and implementation of processes ensuring consistent application of Trust policies.
  4. Managing employment relations matters for medical and non-medical staff, ensuring legislative and policy compliance.
  5. Participating in corporate projects to support the delivery of the Workforce Strategy.
  6. Maintaining effective communication with workforce colleagues to share best practices and facilitate cross-cover of HR services.
  7. Adhering to the NHS Management Code of Conduct and the CIPD Code of Professional Conduct.
