Based at Riverside, Lowestoft or East Suffolk House, Melton (depending on candidates' preference)

£35,412 - £42,839 per annum (Career Grade)

37 hours per week

Fixed term maternity cover to 31 July 2026

We have a fantastic opportunity for an HR Advisor to join our busy team.

Your role

You will provide responsive HR advice and support and will work in partnership with our customers and the team to deliver a highly effective, professional, and pro-active HR service.

You will be responsible for providing advice and support to managers in employee relations, performance management, discipline and grievance, and absence management. You will also handle recruitment in your designated service areas and manage occupational health cases to conclusion.

What you will need

Applicants should be CIPD level 5 qualified as a minimum, with a willingness to work towards level 7 qualification. You will also have recent and relevant HR advisory experience, including up-to-date knowledge of employment law, as well as strong IT, communication, and customer service skills.
