Working in partnership with our service partners, Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospitals, King’s College Hospital and Princess Royal University Hospital we aim to set the standard for the future of pathology.
We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Advisor to join our advisory team at Synnovis on fixed term basis. As a HR Advisor, you will provide comprehensive HR advice and guidance to managers and employees at all levels of the organisation, helping the business provide an industry leading scientific healthcare service to our Trusts. We offer hybrid working, with time split between our flagship headquarters building, our hospital sites and home.
You will be confident in providing the majority of your service remotely, via Microsoft Teams and telephone, but still building a strong rapport and trust with your client managers and employees.
Our managers will look to you for expert advice on the interpretation and application of our policies and procedures and you will need to work closely with the HR Business Partners who have the strategic responsibility for their respective Divisions. The Advisory function forms an integral part of the wider HR team, and you will provide a seamless end to end HR service with the assistance of your colleagues in HR administration, recruitment, learning and development, training and legal.
You will be a key member of a small HR Advisory team providing first level HR support to all managers and employees, at all levels and in all locations, with a timely, high quality HR Advice & ER case management service.
In addition, you will support the wider HR Team, with effective and professional HR advice and whilst providing HR Business Partners a tailored, business-focused, operational HR advice on the people implications of business plans and other developments and improving the core HR service to meet customers’ expectations.
You will act as a point of contact for managers and employees, when they require advice and guidance on HR transactional processes and procedures.
You will provide first line advice on employee relations related policy issues such as discipline or grievance and support all aspects of ER case management and administration.
You will interpret HR policies and employment legislation, advise on risk management, coach and support managers in handling change processes and complex casework whilst championing cultural standards.

· To participate in employee relations case management and provide support to the Senior HRBP, HRBP’s and Operations Directors and/or lead on case management where appropriate including the organisation of meetings, hearings, panels and related supply of information and the production of agreed minutes as required.
