Job description

Our client is a growing PR consultancy specialising in reputation management for the legal sector. They are looking for a skilled and proactive HR Advisor to support their expanding team.

This role offers a varied and engaging workload, including recruitment, onboarding, compliance, employee relations, and general HR administration. This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys a varied role, working closely with management, employees and external HR partners in an entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Managing the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
  2. Liaising with recruitment agencies and external HR partners to attract top talent.
  3. Ensuring smooth and efficient onboarding processes for new employees, including training on internal systems and policies.
  4. Maintaining and updating HR policies, ensuring compliance with UK employment law and industry best practices.
  5. Conducting regular check-ins to support staff wellbeing and professional development.
  6. Managing and tracking training programmes, supporting employees in their career growth.
  7. Administering employee benefits, including health insurance, wellbeing initiatives, and company perks.
  8. Overseeing employee relations, assisting with disciplinary procedures, grievance handling, and conflict resolution.
  9. Providing HR advice to the management team and employees on workplace issues, performance management, and career development.
  10. Coordinating staff engagement initiatives to foster a positive and collaborative work culture.
What they are looking for
  1. Experience: Previous HR Advisor experience, ideally in PR or professional services. CIPD Level 5 required.
  2. Skills: Strong knowledge of UK employment law, excellent communication, and organisational abilities.
  3. Proactive Approach: A self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
