Overview

We have a fantastic opportunity for an HR Advisor to join our busy team, supporting our HR service for East Suffolk Services Limited based at Rotterdam Road Depot, Lowestoft. East Suffolk Council is an exciting place to work and a great place to make a real difference to people's lives, delivering vital services to a quarter of a million people across East Suffolk.

Responsibilities
  • Provide responsive HR advice and support and work in partnership with our customers and the team to deliver a highly effective, professional and pro-active HR service.
  • Advise managers in employee relations, performance management, discipline and grievance and absence management.
  • Recruit in designated service areas and manage occupational health cases to conclusion.
Qualifications
  • CIPD level 5 qualification as a minimum, with a willingness to work towards the level 7 qualification.
  • Recent and relevant HR advisory experience with up-to-date knowledge of employment law.
  • Strong IT, communication, and customer service skills.

Salary offered within the grade will be dependent on experience and qualifications.
