Key Details:
Start: ASAP
Duration: Initially 3 months (with a potential extension up to 6 months)
Hours: Full-time preferred; part-time considered
Location: Hybrid (approximately 20% on-site)
Rate: £19.10 - £22.99 per hour (Band 6 equivalent)
Role Overview:
As an HR Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in providing first-line HR support. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing absence cases, particularly long-term ones
Handling grievances and disciplinary matters
Addressing general HR queries
Supporting the delivery of organisational change programmes
Contributing to project-based work, including integrated training and policy implementation
Building a knowledge base to support ongoing change initiatives
Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for someone who brings:
NHS HR Experience: Your experience within the NHS is essential
Advisory Experience: A strong background in absence management and employee relations will be essential.
Project Delivery: Experience in delivering specific outcomes through project work is a plus, especially in organisational change programmes.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using ESR, Microsoft Office, and Teams is required.
Flexible Work Style: You should be comfortable working independently while collaborating with a senior HR Business Partner.
