About The Role

Our People Team is expanding, and we're looking for someone who shares our passion for empowering and developing our managers!

This isn’t just any role – the HR Advisor is brand new, making it a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves Employee Relations and really wants to carve out an important area of the business as their own. The role will see you own advisory at all levels, with the opportunity to work with Senior Leaders within the business. You will inspire Managers to meet their potential and influence and educate them on new ways of working to get the best out of our People.

With a host of benefits from flexible working house (and only 2 days per week working from the office) you’ll be autonomous, with the opportunity to support on big impact projects such as ESG, Benefit and Reward, and DE&I. Working closely with highly skilled professionals in Legal, Employment Law and Compliance, this is a fantastic opportunity to hone in on your own skillset and grow out, as well as up!

What You Can Expect to Be Doing
  • Mentoring and supporting managers on all areas of ER and providing practical and effective 1st line advice, including support of all formal HR processes.
  • Creating an environment to empower, educate and develop Managers at all levels.
  • Managing employee lifecycle and enhancing and creating People focused HR processes.
  • Working closely within a small team of 3 within HR.
  • Contributing to the close-knit wider People team and People Projects as required.
  • Having an impact on developing fellow teammates, most particularly by contributing to the learning and development of our People Officer.
A Few Things About You
  • A strong ER background is essential, with direct experience with complex cases demonstrable.
  • You’ll have excellent communication skills with the ability to influence, motivate and develop relationships with both Teammates and senior stakeholders.
  • Problem solver, able to give commercial options and advise on risk to empower our managers to make good decisions.
  • A collaborative people person, who enjoys and thrives working with others.
  • Highly organised, autonomous and process driven.
  • A thinker, as well as a doer!
