A highly reputable organisation, based in Colpy, Insch, is currently recruiting for a passionate HR Advisor who thrives on being visible, involved, and truly connected with the team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare contracts, offer letters, and right-to-work checks
  • Keep personnel files and employee documentation up to date
  • Maintain HR policies, templates, and trackers
  • Draft job adverts, post to job boards, and manage applications
  • Arrange interviews, coordinate feedback, and run reference checks
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes including inductions and exit interviews
  • Provide first-line employee relations advice, support formal meetings, and lead performance management processes
  • Act as super-user for benefits platform and drive employee engagement
  • Spend time on the shop floor to build rapport and boost workplace culture
  • Produce monthly HR metrics and suggest improvements

Skills and experience required:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Background in manufacturing, logistics, or other industrial environment
  • Working knowledge of UK employment law basics
  • CIPD Level 3 (working towards Level 5) or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Confident communicator able to build relationships and challenge diplomatically
  • A genuine 'roll-up-your-sleeves' attitude, comfortable with both admin and people-facing work
