About Our Client

Our well respected Haywards Heath area organisation are looking to recruit a full time HR Advisor on a fixed term contract basis, initially set at 12 months.

Job Description

As HR Advisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing advice on HR policies, processes, and employment legislation to colleagues and managers.
  • Guiding managers on handling employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and performance management.
  • Supporting workplace conflict resolution by mediating and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Assisting with offboarding processes, including exit interviews and communication.
  • Maintaining accurate HR records, including contracts, colleague files, and HR system updates.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and organisational requirements in all HR processes.
  • Providing guidance to administrative colleagues, ensuring competency in allocated tasks.
  • Staying updated on employment legislation and support the development of HR policies and procedures.

The Successful Applicant

  • Previous experience working within an HR environment
  • Demonstrates a clear understanding of HR Functions
  • Thorough knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices
  • Experience in handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • CIPD Level 5 or 7 or similar
  • Hybrid working of 2 days WFH
