We are looking for a HR Advisor to deliver expert, confidential HR support across multiple sites. Acting as the first point of contact for staff and external stakeholders, you will provide clear, consistent advice in line with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. In this fast-paced role, you will work closely with a Senior HR Advisor, ensuring the delivery of a high quality, responsive service across the organisation. The right candidate will be able to hit the ground running, be confident handling a demanding caseload of up to 50 complex cases, demonstrating resilience, sound judgement and a proactive approach to problem solving.Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely HR advice on absence, disciplinary, grievance, performance, probation and case management, ensuring compliance with legislation and company policies.
- Support and guide the HR Advisor, ensuring advice aligns with best practice and business needs.
- Coach managers in applying HR policies fairly and consistently.
- Advise on employment matters including redundancy, TUPE and organisational change, attending sites where needed.
- Maintain accurate records to support decisions and future reference.
- Contribute to policy updates, employment documents and HR projects.
- Manage a complex caseload with competing priorities and tight timescales.
- Support general HR administration including issuing letters and change documents.
- Uphold confidentiality while meeting safeguarding responsibilities.
- Provide management with data on sickness, turnover, discipline, grievances, and performance to support timely HR issue resolution.
- Maintain confidentiality while upholding safeguarding responsibilities.
- Carry out other duties to support business goals as required.
Essential: CIPD Level 5 in Human Resource Practice or equivalent experience - Essential: Resilient to manage demanding colleagues and sensitive ER Issues
- Essential: Experience and knowledge in managing complex ER issues and supporting colleagues throughout these processes
- Sound knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
- Ability to research, analyse and reason logically within tight and conflicting timeframes
- Ability to write and present information
