Job summary

Puig is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our Brands HQ team in the UK on a fixed-term 12-month contract. You will provide high-quality generalist HR service, collaborating with managers to deliver People Plans and ensure smooth HR operations.

The role covers maternity/paternity support, payroll coordination, probation oversight, GDPR-compliant records, visa sponsorship and ongoing HR initiatives. A CIPD qualification (or working towards) is desirable and you will promote our values and

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in a similar HR role.
• CIPD qualification (or equivalent), or currently working towards one, is desirable.
• Excellent understanding of HR processes, systems, and best practice.
• High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice across all areas of HR, including maternity, paternity, flexible working, performance management, dispute resolution, and mediation.
• Work closely with payroll teams to ensure employee changes are reflected in monthly payroll.
• Track probationary periods and support managers to address underperformance during probation.
• Generate contracts, change letters, resignation acknowledgements, references and other HR correspondence.
• Maintain employee e-files, ensuring documentation is accurate, up to date and GDPR compliant.
• Manage exit survey process and support exit interviews, identifying trends to improve engagement.
• Support visa sponsorship application processes.
• Lead by example as a champion of our Values, Culture & Community and recognize peers who demonstrate them.
• Support Brands HR initiatives and projects and build strong relationships with Brands teams.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our Brands HQ team to provide high quality generalist HR service in the UK. You will work collaboratively with our managers to support them in the delivery of their People Plans. This is a fixed- term contract for 12 months.

What you’ll get to do

• Provide advice across all areas of HR, including maternity, paternity, flexible working, performance management, dispute resolution, and mediation.
• Work closely with payroll teams to ensure that any employee changes, such as reporting line updates, promotions, and resignations, are accurately reflected in the monthly payroll.
• Track probationary periods and partner with managers to ensure underperformance is effectively managed during the probation period.
• Generate contracts, change letters, resignation acknowledgements, references, and other ad hoc employee correspondence.
• Maintain employee e-files, ensuring all documentation is accurate, up to date, and compliant with GDPR requirements.
• Manage the exit survey process and support exit interviews where appropriate, identifying trends and providing insights to support employee engagement and retention initiatives.
• Support visa sponsorship application processes.
• Lead by example as a champion of our Values, Culture & Community by demonstrating our people values and recognising others who do the same.
• Support the Brands HR team with ad hoc HR initiatives and projects.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with the Brands teams.

We'd love to meet you if you have

• Relevant experience in a similar HR role. CIPD qualification (or equivalent), or currently working towards one, is desirable.
• Excellent understanding of HR processes, systems, and best practice.
• High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively and respond quickly in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Confident influencing stakeholders to ensure consistency in HR processes, building credibility through excellent service delivery and appropriate challenge where required.
