Overview

Part Time HR Advisor / Manager

Location: Gloucester area (GL2) - hybrid (minimum 1 day in office per week)

Hours: 21 hours per week (flexible)

Salary: Up to £35,000 pro rata + benefits

Role

Reporting to the Director of Finance and supported by an HR Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Acting as the first point of contact for employee relations and promoting a positive workplace culture
  • Overseeing performance management, appraisals, and professional development
  • Managing payroll, compensation, and benefits administration
  • Identifying training needs and developing learning programmes
  • Reviewing and updating HR policies to ensure legal compliance
  • Supporting senior management on HR strategy, employee engagement, and retention initiatives
  • Producing HR data and reports to inform decision-making
  • Delivering training on GDPR and Safeguarding, and contributing to Equality, Diversity & Inclusion initiatives
About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent experience)
  • Experienced in a generalist HR role at a similar level
  • Knowledgeable in employment law and HR best practice
  • A strong communicator with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Highly organised, analytical, and detail-focused
  • Professional, proactive, and self-motivated
