Job Description

HR Advisor - Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide first-line HR advice and guidance to managers and employees across a multi-site care setting.


  • Support and manage a range of employee relations matters, including complex and sensitive cases involving safeguarding, conduct, and performance.


  • Lead on investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management in line with policy and best practice.


  • Coach and support line managers on HR policies and people management issues.


  • Assist in the delivery of HR initiatives including staff wellbeing, engagement, and retention strategies.


  • Maintain accurate HR records and contribute to compliance and audit processes.

The Successful Applicant

HR Advisor - What We're Looking For:



  • Proven experience as a HR Advisor (or similar level) within the care, healthcare, or social services sector.


  • Confident handling sensitive ER cases, ideally with knowledge of safeguarding procedures.


  • CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards).


  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills - able to build relationships across all levels.


  • A calm and compassionate approach with the ability to work under pressure.
