Job description

HR Advisor

An exciting opportunity for an HR Advisor has arisen to cover a 12-month fixed term contract for a leading employer in Portsmouth, with a weekly/fortnightly trip to the Surrey office for team catchups.

You’ll be supporting both the managers and employees (new, existing, and leavers) throughout their employment journey, so you’ll need up-to-date employment legislation and knowledge.

Covering a range of Recruitment and ER matters including grievance, performance improvement, absence management, and flexible working, you’ll be joining a small team who are key to supporting and maintaining people-related policies, so we are targeting someone with generalist experience from within a corporate environment.

The company is part of a wider internationally recognized brand, and you’ll be required to attend the Surrey office (near Epsom) once a week or fortnightly for team meetings, as well as projects that may arise and cross over HR matters.

Duties:

  • Support with all recruitment processes, including working alongside the group internal recruiter on resourcing, advertising, scheduling interviews, and conducting interviews.
  • Scheduling and organizing employee reviews, with regular check-ins.
  • Support with disciplinary processes, including note-taking, attending meetings, and ensuring all paperwork is correct.
  • Support the benefit management and renewals.
  • Producing key reports when requested.
  • Support with audits and any projects.
  • Coordinate monthly payroll, preparing all information and providing supporting information.
  • Being highly organized, with good attention to detail, you will provide full administrative support.
