Job Purpose

As People Advisor, you will provide an exceptional HR service to the business, delivering quality, consistent advice, sharing knowledge and building the capability of Leaders. You will contribute to the delivery of strategic and operational business objectives by working closely with the People Partnering team and the wider People Team, as well as key business stakeholders.

Day To Day

  • Ensuring all People matters are handled fairly and consistently, in line with legal and business requirements.
  • Provide practical, quality and balanced advice and support to all our people on our People policies, procedures, and employment practices.
  • Support managers in early identification and mitigation of risks through informal case management to reduce formal employee relations matters.
  • Mediate and facilitate discussions between people to resolve conflicts and promote effective communication to promote a positive work culture.
  • Identify risks to the firm and promptly flag them. Escalate any serious or final stage issues to Associate or Senior People Business Partner as appropriate.
  • Maintain awareness of current employment legislation and advise Leaders accordingly.
  • Working closely with People Operations Insights Analyst to optimise People management information, identifying any gaps and opportunities to enhance the people service.
  • Support Senior Business Partner to implement People strategies and initiatives that foster positive relationships and a productive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, staying updated with changes and advising management on employment relations matters.
  • Drive process improvement across all people policies, driving efficiencies, best practice and upskilling leaders in people practices.

What We Look For

You will be someone who has knowledge of employment law and best practice, and it would be beneficial to hold a professional qualification from an accredited chartered institute such as the CIPD.

You will be a well organised, friendly, and empathetic individual who is able to build positive relationships with employees and Partners around the Firm. You will have demonstrable experience of processing high volumes of work accurately and will be comfortable working with data and information from multiple sources.

If you feel that you have this experience and are passionate about advancing your career within our People team, then we strongly encourage you to apply.
