About The Role
Reporting to the HR Partner on a day-to-day basis, you will be required to provide advice to managers and staff on policy and procedures. You will undertake HR case work, providing advice and guidance to managers on a range of HR issues such as performance management, sickness absence, grievance and disciplinaries, and supporting such work through processing, recording and monitoring actions where necessary. Where queries are raised, you will ensure that solutions are provided and concerns are managed at an informal level where possible.
We are looking for an effective and highly organised individual, who has the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload as necessary. You will have a methodical and logical approach to your workload, with a solution focused mindset to meet stakeholder requirements. You will also possess excellent communication skills, and have the ability to work to relevant deadlines.
With a degree or be part qualified in a relevant professional qualification at degree level or have demonstrable appropriate level of experience and CPD. To succeed in your application, it is essential that you are able to demonstrate relevant experience of working in a HR environment. Having worked in the Further Education or Schools sector, or for another Ofsted regulated employer, will be beneficial. You will have sound knowledge of employment law and best practice. It would also be advantageous to be CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards this.
