Job summary

TeacherActive in Cambridge is seeking an experienced Human Resources Advisor to join the College HR team. You will provide expert advice and support on a wide range of HR matters, helping to deliver an excellent people service and support the College's Workforce Strategy.

You will coach managers on employee relations, oversee recruitment and onboarding, ensure policies align with employment law, and contribute to HR projects and safeguarding compliance.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a HR advisory or generalist role.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience handling complex employee relations casework.
• Excellent communication, influencing and organisational skills.
• A customer-focused, proactive and solution-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Ensure HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with employment law.

Salary: £36,883 - £37,499 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full Time (37 hours per week)

Location: Cambridge with occasional travel as required to Huntingdon

About the Role
