Job description

We're excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a HR/People Advisor to join our expanding team in Bristol. In this newly created role, reporting to the HR Business Partner, you'll play a key part in delivering HR support and guidance to employees and people leaders. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Supporting the implementation and administration of HR policies and procedures.
  2. Providing guidance to employees and managers on HR-related queries.
  3. Assisting the Recruitment Business Partner with recruitment campaigns, including job postings, shortlisting, and interviews.
  4. Helping onboard new joiners within the Bristol office and supporting the induction process.
  5. Maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
  6. Coordinating and delivering employee training and development programs in liaison with the Learning and Development Partner.
  7. Supporting employee relations cases, including grievances and disciplinary procedures.
  8. Preparing HR reports and analytics to support decision-making.
  9. Contributing to the improvement of HR processes and practices.
  10. Participating in employee engagement initiatives to promote an inclusive and supportive work environment.

Qualifications and experience required:

  • A professional qualification in Human Resources or a related field; CIPD Level 5 or above (or working towards) is highly desirable.
  • Experience in delivering HR support in a business services environment.
  • Understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships across all levels of the business.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Experience collaborating with Learning & Development teams to develop and deliver training programs.
  • A strong understanding of confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion and diplomacy.
