Job description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious HR professional to join a busy HR department as their new HR Advisor. My client is an award winning company and are renown for their in house development of employees and staff support. Responsibilities:

  • Working alongside the HR administrator to ensure the employee database is accurate and up to date
  • Utilising your HR knowledge to guide the management teams on a range of HR matters
  • Preparing and completing documentation relating to employee relations
  • Monitoring attendance and reporting on employee patterns as well as offering support where needed
  • Liaising with line managers to handle all HR matters with a shared and collaborative spirit
  • Utilising people metrics to produce monthly and quarterly reports for management
  • Ensuring all business activities are legally compliant
  • Helping to create and improve HR policies to make an impact in the workplace and actively benefit your colleagues
  • CIPD Level 3 or above is desirable
  • A personable approach and people centric mindset
  • Previous HR Advisor experience of working within a team
  • Strong knowledge of current employment law and able to apply this in the role
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure
  • Able to handle confidential information with confidence and tact
  • Competent with Microsoft Office and willing to learn new IT skills
  • Full time, permanent contract
