Your new role
As an HR Advisor, you will provide professional HR support across a range of functions, including employee relations, recruitment and selection, absence management, and policy implementation. You will work closely with line managers and HR colleagues to ensure best practice and compliance with employment legislation.Key responsibilities include:

  • Advising managers on HR policies and procedures
  • Supporting recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Managing employee relations cases
  • Contributing to HR projects and initiatives
  • Maintaining accurate HR records and documentation


What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within the public sector
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines
  • CIPD qualification (or working towards)
