A forward-thinking organization in Banbury is seeking an HR Advisor to support the Head of HR in various aspects of the employee lifecycle. This role involves acting as the first point of contact for HR queries, supporting recruitment processes, and ensuring compliance with UK employment law. The ideal candidate will be Level 3 CIPD qualified and possess relevant HR experience. We are seeking a motivated and experienced HR Advisor to join our friendly HR team. This operational generalist role is key in supporting the Head of HR across the full employee lifecycle - from onboarding to employee relations and learning and development.
You will play a vital role in supporting our People Strategy, nurturing a positive workplace culture, and delivering HR support across our offices.

What you will be doing
• Acting as the first point of contact for HR queries across Wellers offices
• Supporting recruitment andonboarding processes
• Supporting apprenticeships and coordinating with colleges and training bodies
• Providing advice on policies, change processes, and performance management
• Coordinating employee engagement initiatives and recognition schemes
• Maintaining HRIS and ATS systems and providing user training
• Supporting payroll by ensuring accurate processing of employee changes
• Producing key HR reports and contributing to HR policy reviews
• Ensuring GDPR compliance and maintaining personnel records
Please note that you will be required to travel to all Wellers offices from time to time.
What you need to succeed
• Level 3 CIPD qualified (working towards Level 5 is a plus!)
• Demonstrable experience in a generalist HR role
• Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
• Experience with HRIS and ATS (ideally as a super-user)
• Experience coordinating apprenticeships and early careers support
• A solution-focused mindset with excellent attention to detail
