HR Colleague Experience Adviser

The HR Services Team provides high-quality, value-added HR consultancy services throughout M&G plc. The team applies specialist knowledge, advice, and guidance, sharing best practices across the organization. They ensure policies and processes are applied consistently, fairly, and professionally. The HR Colleague Experience Adviser supports and educates colleagues across HR and the wider business by helping them utilize self-service tools like Workday and The People Hub, and provides dedicated case management support to managers. The role involves close collaboration with other HR Advisers, the HR Colleague Experience Lead, HR Services Manager, and other HR teams, offering expert guidance and support across M&G plc.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expert HR advice and guidance on policies, procedures, and best practices.
  2. Offer pay advice and guidance to colleagues.
  3. Support transformational change activities by leveraging HR expertise, liaising with stakeholders.
  4. Advise on employee relations, ensuring compliance with employment laws, fostering a fair and inclusive environment.
  5. Manage informal cases collaboratively with relevant stakeholders.
  6. Handle HR and pay-related changes throughout the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with policies, legislation, and regulations.
  7. Lead and support BAU and project activities, including system testing and content uploads.
  8. Deliver lifecycle projects and coordinate with stakeholders to meet timelines.
  9. Integrate international processes into UK operations, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  10. Build strong relationships through face-to-face interactions like drop-in sessions and lunch and learns.
  11. Complete process controls and suggest improvements within the Operational Risk framework.
  12. Deliver quality service within agreed levels, ensuring first-time accuracy.
  13. Support UK Border Agency and other regulatory requirements.
  14. Identify opportunities to enhance the HR colleague experience.
  15. Coordinate team training and development.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  1. Knowledge of HR processes, compliance, legislation, and risk management.
  2. Proficiency with HR systems like Workday, People Hub, and ServiceNow.
  3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  4. Experience managing diverse HR tasks and responsibilities.
  5. Customer-focused approach.
  6. Attention to detail and continuous learning drive.
  7. CIPD qualification is desirable.
