Job description

As a HR Adviser, you’ll play a key role in delivering seamless, end-to-end support across the full employee lifecycle. Working closely with the HR Operations Manager, wider HR team, and the business, you will ensure all HR services are delivered efficiently and in line with our service level agreements (SLAs).

You’ll be instrumental in driving continuous improvement, helping to build a high-performing HR Operations function that supports the delivery of our broader HR strategy.

This is a dynamic and hands-on role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll support the day-to-day operations of the HR team, ensuring we maintain high standards of service during a period of transformation and change.

9 month fixed-term contract, based 2 days a week in our Swindon office.

  • Salary – up to £38,000
  • Bonus Scheme – on target bonus of 7.5%

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and developing internal processes and company policies
  • Working with line managers to implement contractual changes
  • Supporting managers with employee relations policies and cases, and assisting HR Business Partners on complex requests
  • Understanding of Total Reward and Flexible Benefits
  • Supporting the delivery of annual benefits reviews
  • Implementing changes related to employment legislation as required
  • Driving efficiencies and improvements in HR Operations
  • Managing relationships with HR systems providers, monitoring SLAs and trigger points
  • Managing regulatory and legislative changes in line with compliance guidelines
  • Working with Talent Acquisition to ensure an efficient onboarding process
  • Managing employee data, including onboarding, contractual changes, and offboarding
  • Maintaining accurate personnel records with confidentiality and security
  • Assisting with HR projects and initiatives

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Strong HR generalist/operations experience
  • Understanding of payroll functions (desirable)
  • Knowledge of the financial services sector (desirable)
  • CIPD qualification (essential)

Knowledge:

  • Understanding of employment law principles
  • Proficient in HR software
  • Experience with employee relations and case management
