HR Adviser - Education sector - £35,000 - Cambridgeshire/Lincolnshire


This is a great opportunity for an HR Adviser to join a leading a Education organisation going through a period of positive change.

Reporting into the ER Manager you will be responsible for providing professional and effective HR advice and support to leaders, managers and employees across the organisation on a range of people management matters. Your key accountabilities will include:-

  • Providing basic advice and guidance to managers in line with policies and procedures, referring complex queries to the ER Manager
  • Managing the probation process and liaising closely with the People Partners
  • Managing informal employee relations matters including absence management and performance
  • Actively supporting the review and development of HR policies and procedures
  • Producing data, information and commentary for management reports including executive-level and board-level reports
  • Analysing data and trends to make learning and development recommendations to the Group Learning and Organisation Development Manager


You should be an HR Adviser or HR Generalist with a good knowledge of HR best practice and experience of managing non-complex employee relations issues including absence management. Experience of working with and analysing data needs to be combined with excellent communication skills.
