A look into the role

You will be part of a flexible team supporting the business on people lifecycle activities related to performance, talent, and reward. You will also guide and coach people managers in managing their teams effectively, including handling performance issues, absences, investigations, and disciplinary cases. Supporting Senior People Advisers and People Advisory Managers, you will be responsible for delivering on our people strategy, initiatives, and the annual people experience cycle.

Given the importance of this role, there will be exciting opportunities to expand your knowledge and develop your skills.

Knowing you’re right for us

The minimum criteria for joining as a People Adviser include:

  • Experience within a generalist HR function working with large client groups
  • Some experience supporting employee relations activities such as absence management, capability, investigations, and disciplinary processes
  • Confidence in using Excel for data manipulation, analysis, and presentation
  • Strong stakeholder management and adaptive communication skills
  • Examples of supporting people managers with initiatives that positively impacted their teams

It would be beneficial if you also have some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box—we’ll help you develop along the way:

  • Experience working in a large, complex organization
  • Experience collaborating within service line structures and centers of excellence
  • Experience delivering Inclusion and Diversity initiatives to promote awareness and open conversations
  • Experience owning people processes such as salary and bonus reviews, performance moderation, and talent management
