Job summary

Core-Asset Consulting is recruiting a HR Adviser for a global financial services client in Glasgow on a 12-month temporary basis. The role provides strategic and operational HR advice across the full employee lifecycle and supports various projects.

The successful candidate will have a strong generalist HR background, proven advisory experience, and excellent stakeholder management. A CIPD qualification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Generalist HR background across full lifecycle.
• Proven HR advisory support experience and management of complex employee relations cases.
• Excellent stakeholder management to advise managers at all levels.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities; convey complex information clearly.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Good working knowledge of UK employment legislation.
• Experience within financial services is desirable but not essential.
• CIPD qualification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality HR advice across absence, performance management, recruitment, retention, diversity and inclusion, development, promotion, compensation, immigration/relocation and other HR projects.
• Coach managers through complex employee relations matters, restructures and workforce planning activities.
• Support year-end processes including performance reviews and compensation cycles.
• Analyse people data to identify trends, insights and risks to inform business decisions.
• Build relationships with HR colleagues and stakeholders across the UK and internationally.
• Partner with Talent Management, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, Employment Legal and International Services teams.
• Keep up to date with UK employment legislation and ensure advice aligns with policy and regulatory requirements.

Skills/Experience:

• Keeping up to date with UK employment legislation and ensuring advice is delivered in line with relevant policies and regulatory requirements.
