Key Responsibilities:

1. Responding to HR enquiries via telephone and email
2. Following administration processes for new starters, contract changes, and leavers; issuing documents, monitoring returns, and ensuring checks are completed accurately and promptly, with stakeholder updates
3. Collating monthly overtime and inputting data into payroll software (iTrent)
4. Managing retention of employee documents and records in line with GDPR
5. Providing HR information for reference requests
6. Managing recruitment and onboarding: collating information, drafting adverts, posting on platforms, scheduling interviews, completing pre-recruitment checks, liaising with line managers and candidates
7. Monitoring new starter information and inputting data into the school’s SCR
8. Monitoring expiry of fixed-term contracts and managing internal processes, including sending documentation to line managers and collating returns
9. Using various IT systems including Word, Excel, and HR and Payroll systems (iTrent)
10. General office administration such as employee filing
