HR Administrator (Temp) – Immediate Start

Location: Liverpool Street, London

Contract: Temporary (approx. 3 months)

Rate: £12–£15 per hour (depending on experience)

Start Date: Tuesday 17th June 2025

Working Pattern: Full-time, 5 days a week, in-office (9am–6pm)

About the Opportunity

A London-based client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Temporary HR Administrator to support their people function during a busy period. This is an immediate start role, ideal for someone with solid HR administration experience who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced, professional environment.

The contract is expected to run for approximately three months, with a one-week notice period on either side. The successful candidate will be based in the client’s central London office and will work closely with a highly experienced Head of HR as part of a small and efficient HR team of two.

About the Role

The HR Administrator will provide core administrative support across the employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities include managing HR documentation, coordinating recruitment processes, and supporting updates to policies and procedures. The role offers strong exposure to generalist HR activities, in a business-focused and hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Administration: Maintain accurate, confidential employee records, including contracts, offer letters, onboarding documents, and updates using BreatheHR.
  • Recruitment Coordination: Support the interview process by scheduling and liaising with candidates.
  • Policy Maintenance: Assist with reviewing and updating company policies and HR procedures.
  • General Admin Support: Deliver day-to-day administrative assistance across the HR function.

About You

This opportunity is best suited to someone who is dependable, precise, and comfortable working in a small, tight-knit team. The ability to take ownership of administrative tasks and maintain high standards of professionalism is key.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrable HR administration experience gained within a private sector organisation
  • A strong grasp of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of discretion when handling confidential data
  • Strong time-management and prioritisation skills
  • A proactive, quick-learning mindset and the confidence to work independently
  • A degree in HR, business, or management (preferred but not essential)
  • Availability to start Tuesday 17th June and work five days a week in-office
