A leading trade union is seeking a HR Administrator for their Head Office. The role involves providing administrative support within the HR function, maintaining HR databases, and assisting in recruitment processes. The Union of Shop, Distributive and Allied Workers is one of the UK’s largest trade unions.
A vacancy exists for a HR Administrator based at the Union’s Head Office.
What we Offer:
The principal duties are: provide administrative support within the HR function, including resolving general enquiries; maintain the Unionꞌs HR database and flexi system and process new starters and leavers; undertake duties with regard to the recruitment and selection process and produce reports.
The successful applicant will possess: previous experience of a HR role; the ability to communicate effectively; IT literacy, particularly Microsoft Office including Word and Excel; basic knowledge of HR systems and policies; the ability to plan and organise their workload; knowledge of data protection and confidentiality.
