Contract: Full Time
Salary: £15,704 per annum

This role supports the smooth and efficient running of the department and manages the administration related to colleagues.

  • Champion the Champneys culture, ensuring all colleagues are aware of the company's aspirations and brand principles.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure all stages of the employee lifecycle align with core values.
  • Support the Aspirational Managers programme, assisting with selection and recruitment alongside the HR Director.
  • Handle administration for new starters, transfers, promotions, leavers, and probation periods.
  • Manage issuing all new starter documentation, ensuring compliance with start dates, and handle job description processes.
  • Maintain communication between hiring managers and candidates throughout recruitment.
  • Complete and return reference checks for all contracted colleagues.
  • Provide administrative support such as invitation letters and confirmation letters.
  • Upload all relevant documents to the HR and Payroll system.
  • Maintain personal files in accordance with GDPR regulations.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to learn new systems, including in-house HR/Payroll systems.
  • Effective time management and organization skills.
  • Approachable attitude to enhance employee engagement.
  • Awareness of responsibilities regarding safeguarding confidentiality and information security.

As an apprentice, you will complete a Level 3 Business Administration course, typically lasting 15 months, including an endpoint assessment.

The course covers topics such as:

  • Understanding organizational purpose, values, and vision.
  • Developing proficiency in IT tools for document creation, data management, and financial processes.
  • Creating and managing documents, reports, and records accurately.
  • Making informed decisions based on data.
  • Building organizational skills to manage priorities and deadlines.
  • Enhancing interpersonal skills for positive stakeholder relationships.
  • Learning core business concepts and principles.
  • Understanding relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
