HR Administrator

Location: Northampton

Salary: £24,500

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5:30pm (37.5 hours) with 1-hour break

HR Administrator Role:

  • Manage onboarding, role changes, and leavers, ensuring accurate paperwork and timely payroll notifications
  • Maintain employee records, including absences, holidays, sickness, and training, in HR systems
  • Assist with job postings, CV screening, interview scheduling, and applicant tracking system maintenance
  • Serve as the first point of contact for HR queries, take minutes at employee relations meetings, and support grievance/disciplinary processes, ensuring compliance with UK employment law and GDPR

Key requirements:

  • At least one year of HR experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and compliance with employment regulations
  • Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office
  • Adaptability and proactive problem-solving abilities
