Job description

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Apleona is a UK provider of integrated facilities management. With a client base across 520 UK operational sites, we employ over 1500 talented people to deliver service solutions that work for our clients. Our culture is fast-paced, challenging, friendly, and we are looking for you to join us!

We are currently recruiting a HR Administrator responsible for HR administration across our designated business units and supporting employees in accessing our Apleona Access Group application.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact, providing prompt and professional responses to HR queries. You will process HR transactional activities such as onboarding, leavers, sickness absence, pensions, etc., and handle all documentation related to new employees, including right to work checks, DBS, and company vetting. You will also support TUPE transfers of staff into and out of the business, assisting the HR operational team.

You will support the maintenance and monitoring of our Access Group application suite, ensuring system functionality, reporting issues, and maintaining system integrity and security.

The role requires handling sensitive information confidentially to ensure positive employee relations.

Requirements for an Apleona HR Administrator:
  • Experience in a shared service or busy office environment
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams (intermediate level)
  • Good organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience with HR applications (preferably SelectHR) - Desirable
  • Information Systems Qualification - Desirable
