A financial services company in Greater London is seeking an experienced HR Administrator to support HR functions including onboarding, data management, and payroll processes. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in a similar role and a strong understanding of UK employment law. The position requires strong organizational skills and discretion in handling confidential information, with opportunities for project support in HR initiatives.
POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Head of HR, we are seeking an experienced HR Administrator to join our team. This role presents an exciting opportunity for an individual with a keen interest in HR, onboarding, offboarding, and other generalist HR responsibilities.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Onboarding and Offboarding:
-Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organisation.
-Conduct Right to Work (RTW) checks and (regulatory) references for all new joiners.
-Manage induction for all new joiners.
-Manage probations.
-Manage the offboarding process for leavers including exit interviews.
HRIS Data and Data Management:
-Maintain accuracy and integrity of HR information in the HRIS (HiBob).
-Ensure proper documentation is stored and accessible, adhering to data protection regulations.
-Strong working knowledge of GDPR.
Letters and Contracts:
-Preparation of employment letters, change contracts, and other HR-related documentation.
Reporting and Analytics:
-Generate and analyse HRIS reports, providing insights for strategic decision-making.
Ad Hoc Administration:
-Provide other general administrative support to the Head of HR, as and when required.
-Assist with other various HR projects and initiatives as required.
Payroll:
-Work with the Head of HR to support the end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring confidentiality, accuracy, and compliance.
Ownership and Proactivity:
-Taking ownership of assigned tasks and projects, demonstrating an independent and proactive approach.
-Displaying initiative in problem-solving, anticipating issues and implementing effective solutions.
Recruitment Coordination:Assist with job postings, interview scheduling, candidate communications, and offer letters.
Compliance with Employment Law
Project Support:Assist in HR projects such as engagement surveys, policy reviews, and diversity initiatives.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
·Minimum 3 years’ experience as an HR Administrator, ideally in Financial Services.
·Can work independently with minimum supervision.
·Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
·Strong knowledge of HRIS (HiBob a plus) and data management.
·Excellent understanding of UK employment legislation and compliance.
·Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
·Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
·High attention to detail and organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
·Proactive problem-solver with a can-do attitude.
