Overview

HR Administration Assistant in the Accord Multi Academy Trust, temporary to 31 August 2026 with potential for part-time arrangements from 30 hours per week minimum. Full-time hours are Monday to Thursday 8.00am–4.00pm and Friday 8.00am–3.30pm (unpaid lunch 30 minutes). Applications from part-time/Term Time staff will also be considered.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out a range of administrative duties related to safer recruitment and support the HR Team as the first point of contact.
  • Receive and respond to telephone calls and enquiries in a courteous manner; manage the busy HR email inbox.
  • Respond to routine enquiries with support from HR colleagues and complete administrative tasks such as drafting letters, contracts, communications and minutes to a high standard with exemplary attention to detail.
  • Draft letters, contracts, communications and minutes; contribute to HR processes and maintain accurate records.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Preferably prior experience in a HR environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident approach.
Working arrangements
  • Substantive post is Full Time, Full Year; applications from candidates seeking part-time arrangements or Term Time working will be considered, with a minimum of 30 hours per week and Term Time plus 15 days.
  • Part-time applicants should state on the application form their preference.
