IC Resources is supporting a specialist technology organisation in recruiting an experienced HPC Infrastructure Engineer for an on-premise HPC/compute upgrade project. The role focuses on taking technical ownership of the existing environment, assessing weaknesses, and implementing improvements to reliability, manageability, monitoring and automation.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on Linux/HPC experience, including cluster administration and Linux server/node management, and will document

Qualificações

• Hands-on Linux/HPC engineer capable of entering an existing environment and identifying weaknesses.
• Experience with HPC cluster administration and Linux server/node management.
• Ability to implement improvements across reliability, manageability, monitoring and automation.
• Familiarity with workload schedulers and infrastructure automation is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Take technical ownership of the on-prem HPC/compute environment.

• Document processes and support knowledge transfer to the team.

IC Resources is supporting a specialist technology organisation requiring an experienced HPC Infrastructure Engineer for a focused infrastructure improvement project.

The successful engineer will take technical ownership of an existing on-premise HPC/compute environment, assess the current infrastructure and implement improvements across reliability, manageability, monitoring and automation.

This would suit a hands-on Linux/HPC engineer who is comfortable entering an existing environment, identifying weaknesses and leaving the infrastructure in a more robust and supportable state.
