A leading recruitment firm has an urgent need for an experienced HPC Infrastructure Engineer in Cambridge. Overview

HPC Infrastructure Engineer - Cambridge (Hybrid, 2-3 days p/w) - Outside IR35

Spinks have an urgent requirement for an experienced HPC Infrastructure Engineer to join a client for a 6 month engagement. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, tackling a variety of projects while taking a consultative approach to exciting new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to projects in a fast-paced environment with a consultative approach.
• Work on large-scale computing environments in HPC, HTC or BC contexts.
• Administer large-scale cluster and server computing and related software.
• Collaborate within a DevOps team to support platform operations.

Qualifications / Key Requirements

• Strong understanding of large-scale computing environments, such as HPC, HTC or BC.
• Hands-on experience working in a DevOps team.
• Experience of administration of large-scale cluster and server computing and related software.
• Understanding of scripting and tool development for HPC & DevOps style platform operations using bash and Python.
• Tech Stack: Java, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL, AWS, Python, HPC, Perl, Azure, C++, GCP, Ruby.

Engagement Details
