Job summary

Viridien in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced HPC Architecture Leader to shape the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of our high-performance computing platforms. You will lead end-to-end architecture for next-generation systems, aligning engineers, operations, vendors, and clients to deliver secure, scalable, and cost-optimized solutions powering data processing and simulation workloads.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM field (CS, Engineering, Physics) or equivalent.
8+ years designing and scaling large-scale HPC compute/storage architectures.
3+ years of people leadership managing an HPC team.
Proven track record delivering secure, scalable HPC platforms.
Strong Linux and HPC ecosystem knowledge.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end architecture for next-generation HPC systems.
Shape strategy, roadmap, and delivery in collaboration with global teams.
Align engineering, operations, vendors, and clients to optimize cost and performance.
Mentor and develop high-performing teams across distributed sites.
