Job summary

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust invites applications for a 6-month HPB surgery post within the Hammersmith HPB unit, a leading centre for liver, pancreatic and biliary diseases. The post supports HPB surgeons, with opportunities in ward rounds, clinics, theatre sessions and research, alongside SHOs and registrars.

Applicants must be GMC-registered and hold Royal College membership; Desirable: MD/PhD. UK skilled worker sponsorship information provided during recruitment.

Qualifications

• GMC registration/licensure as a Medical Practitioner is required.
• Membership of the appropriate Royal College is expected.
• Desirable: MD or PhD.

Responsibilities

• Participate in HPB patient care, ward rounds, outpatient clinics and theatre sessions.
• Cover HPB surgical team activities (ward rounds, clinics, theatre) and assist OG patients when allocated.
• Take part in regular meetings (monthly committee/operational/MDT) and contribute to teaching for SHOs and registrars.
