Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Specialist Nurse to join the HPB cancer team at Churchill Hospital, Oxford, on a 12-month secondment. The role focuses on delivering holistic, evidence-based care within a multidisciplinary HPB cancer service.

The post requires post-registration Band 5/6 experience, cancer/HPB nursing background, excellent communication and leadership skills, and ability to work across care boundaries with primary and palliative services.

Qualificações

• Diploma or degree in nursing with active NMC registration.
• Experience in Cancer or HPB nursing.
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Evidence of leadership or management experience.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and provide comprehensive clinical care and specialist advice for HPB cancer patients.
• Work autonomously within the multidisciplinary HPB cancer team.
• Deliver holistic assessments, care plans, and personalised care in MDT settings.
• Coordinate care across primary and secondary care and provide education to colleagues.
• Act as a key worker providing continuity for patients and families throughout the pathway.
