Housing with Care Officer

Job Type: Part-time permanent (24 hours per week)

Location: Evesham

Salary: £18,646 per annum (part time salary)

Flexible Working Days: 3 to 5 days per week

We are seeking a dedicated Housing with Care Officer to join a local housing association, delivering exceptional housing management services within a supported housing environment. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background within a housing-based environment, experience with offering support with residents wellbeing and tenancy management.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of tenancy processes including referrals, sign-ups, terminations, voids, and tenancy visits.
  • Engage with residents to promote wellbeing and independence through tailored individual plans, group activities, and directing to specialist support.
  • Conduct customer surgeries to address and resolve housing-related queries promptly.
  • Perform regular health & safety checks and tenancy audits, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Develop initiatives for residents to participate in and influence the services provided.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in housing settings.
  • Strong understanding of housing legislation, welfare benefits, and effective tenancy management.
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach, capable of handling challenging situations.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use.
  • This role requires you to complete an enhanced DBS check.
