A community support organization in Truro is looking for a dedicated individual to help clients at risk of losing their tenancy due to substance misuse. This role involves collaboration with various teams and external agencies to provide comprehensive support. Candidates should have experience in outreach and an understanding of homelessness. The Housing Support Grant (HSG) is a project supporting clients with drug and alcohol issues who are also at risk of losing their tenancy. To be eligible, clients need to be in temporary, supported, emergency or private rented accommodation.
We work alongside the community teams and with external agencies to support our clients to prevent homelessness. The focus is to support in any way that the client needs to help them remain accommodated.
