We are currently supporting Nacro with their recruitment for a Housing Support Worker in Liverpool.

Your new role

We are seeking a Housing Support Worker to join the Nacro team in Liverpool on a temp-to-perm basis. The main focus of this role is to provide support to Residents by creating person-centred support plans. You will meet with Residents, discuss support needs, and help them meet their objectives; complete Support and Safety Plans; work with Community Probation Practitioners and Court Staff to support our Residents. You will also assist Residents with applying for Housing Benefits and paying rent.

To ensure our properties meet standards in repair and cleanliness, you will need a sharp attention to detail to ensure houses are clean, tidy, and repairs are reported and actioned.

You will be allocated a number of properties to manage, working as part of a larger team to deliver the service across your region. You need access to your own vehicle and business insurance. Please note, this role is NOT a personal care role.

Working Hours: 35 hours per week, with shift patterns and flexibility discussed during your interview. The working hours are between 08:00 and 22:00 Monday-Friday, and Saturday 09:00-17:00 on a rotational basis.

What you'll need to succeed

Experience within social housing and knowledge of Support Planning and welfare benefits/universal credit will be advantageous. The role requires an Enhanced Adult DBS and a HMPPS Barring checks. If you already have this DBS on the update service, please inform us upon registration.
