A reputable children's support organization in Sunderland is seeking a Housing Support Worker. Your role will involve supporting young people in their accommodation and helping them with their individual pathway plans. The ideal candidate will have a background in social care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster trusting relationships. Assist us to support young people accessing the Next Steps Service or homeless 16-17-year-olds in living at one of Together For Children’s internal supported accommodations, including providing outreach support to those in their own tenancies.
Help us to contribute to the development and implementation of the young people\'s individual pathway plans, support plans and build positive, trusting relationships with young people.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore will be subject to a DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
