Action for Children is recruiting a Housing Support Worker in Dundee, Scotland. The role supports young homeless people aged 16-21 across two sites, with direct access and temporary accommodation for up to 25 young people.
Service operates 24/7, with rota including evenings and weekends, and rota requirements for more flexible cover. The post involves building strong relationships with young people and families, safeguarding duties and participation in supervision and training to deliver
Salary: £25,949 per annum
Location: Dundee, Scotland
Contract/Hours: Full Time Permanent- 37 hours per week ( Day and Night Shifts available)
5 week rolling rota which includes evening and weekends.

Dundee Youth Housing Support provides a diverse range of prevention and support services to young homeless people, young people with additional needs and care experienced young people in the Dundee area. The mainstay of the service is to provide supported accommodation to enable young people aged 16-21 years to develop their independent living skills.
The service operates 24/7 providing a mixture of direct access and temporary accommodation for up to 25 young people across 2 sites. DYHS is currently supporting approximately 50 young people.
